1Extract the ZIP to a folder (e.g. ~/SirayaPrinter/).
2Plug in your USB thermal printer.
3Run: chmod +x Install.sh SirayaPrinter*.AppImage && ./Install.sh
4Open http://127.0.0.1:5000 — select printer → Test print.
5Open Siraya POS on the same PC: pos.siraya.food/pos

1Extract the ZIP to Desktop (e.g. C:\SirayaPrinter\).
2Install your Epson / thermal printer in Windows Settings → Printers.
3Double-click Install.cmd and approve Administrator.
4Browser opens http://127.0.0.1:5000 — Save printer → Test print.
5Open Siraya POS on the same PC: pos.siraya.food/pos

Tools & troubleshooting

For a new register PC, download the Windows ZIP above and run Install.cmd only — no other scripts are required. The tools below are for updates, repair, or rare edge cases.

Windows installer (ZIP)

Full offline installer — extract and run Install.cmd.

When: First install on a new register PC, or full reinstall.

Install.cmd

Inside the ZIP — installs the print agent and opens setup in your browser.

When: Always use this for first install. No other scripts needed.

Included inside the Windows ZIP

Update.cmd

Inside the ZIP — downloads patches from Siraya and restarts the agent.

When: Only after a successful install, when a newer version is available.

Repair.cmd

Inside the ZIP — restarts the agent and opens the setup page.

When: Setup page will not open but the printer was installed before.

Open-Setup.cmd

Inside the ZIP — opens http://127.0.0.1:5000 in your browser.

When: Agent is running; you only need the setup page.

Stop before install

Stops the print agent so Windows can replace locked files during reinstall.

When: Install.cmd fails with “access denied” on node.napi.node (rare — Install.cmd stops the agent automatically).

Fix printer agent

Restarts the agent when Windows says the service is running but port 5000 does not respond.

When: Service shows Running but http://127.0.0.1:5000 does not open.

Windows remote SSH setup

Full setup: OpenSSH user siraya-ssh, firewall, and Tailscale for remote support.

When: First time enabling remote access on a register PC.

Enable SSH only

Turns on OpenSSH Server and firewall port 22 (if SETUP.bat failed on SSH step).

When: PowerShell says “-Name is not recognized” or port 22 will not connect.

Windows remote SSH setup — step by step

Download Siraya-Windows-Setup.zip from the tools list above (for remote support via AnyDesk or Tailscale).

Click the download button above (file saves to Downloads).
Right-click the ZIP → Extract All.
Open the folder, double-click SETUP.bat.
Click Yes on the admin prompt.
Type a password twice (8+ characters) on this keyboard.
Sign in to Tailscale if it opens.
Screenshot the SUCCESS screen and send to support.

If Windows warns about the file: click More info then Run anyway. Errors log to C:\SirayaSetup\install.log.

Frequently asked questions

Which printers are supported?: Most USB ESC/POS thermal receipt printers — Epson TM (TM-T88, TM-T884, etc.), Star, Bixolon, Xprinter, Rongta, and similar 58mm/80mm models. Connect via USB; on Linux use a CUPS raw queue. Label printers, A4 office printers, and Bluetooth-only models are not supported.
Does it work without internet?: Printing works offline after install. First-time Linux install may download CUPS packages; Windows runs npm once during Install.cmd if packages are missing.
Print queue stuck on Linux?: Open the setup page and click Clear queue, or run cancel -a Your-Printer-Name in terminal, then test print again.
